Brittany Hogan Alomar

Brittany Hogan Alomar is a highly accomplished vocalist and vocal pedagogue based in Greenville, South Carolina. She holds a Master's degree in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy from The Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Furman University. Brittany is also currently in the process of earning a Certificate in Vocology from NYU. In addition to her formal education, Brittany was also granted the opportunity to study in Italy at the Accademia dell' Arte, where she performed in numerous concerts, recitals, and masterclasses.
Brittany's love for singing spans a variety of styles and genres. Some of her favorite roles include: The "Fox" in Janacek's The Cunning Little Vixen, Rosalinda in J. Strauss' Die Fledermaus, Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County, Eva Peron in Evita, Maria in The Sound of Music, Louise in Gypsy, Rosie in Bye, Bye, Birdie!, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and Nellie in South Pacific. Brittany is also an accomplished concert performer and has had the honor of performing the National Anthem at many high-profile sporting events.
Brittany is equally dedicated to sharing her expertise with others, and has over 17 years of private teaching experience. She is particularly proud of developing BHA Voice Studio. Brittany also teaches at the SC Governor's School Summer Programs and was previously on the Voice Faculty at Anderson University. Most of Brittany's students are active performers, many of which have performed professionally, both regionally and on Broadway, won various vocal competitions, and have been accepted into some of the most prestigious music schools in the country. Brittany's love of teaching is evident in the success of her students and she could not be more proud of them!

Maggie Lovin

Maggie Lovin is a Greenville, SC native who loves helping singers discover confidence, artistry, and joy through music. She believes that every student has a unique voice to share and is passionate about creating a supportive environment where singers can grow at every stage of their musical journey.
Although she officially returned to Greenville in 2024, she remained closely connected to the Upstate music community prior to that move. She taught in the Master of Music Education program at Anderson University, served as Music Director at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and currently sings as a staff musician at Prince of if Peace Catholic Church. She has also enjoyed working with young artists through the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities summer programs in 2023 and 2025.
Since 2020, Maggie has been a full-time instructor with BHA Voice Studio, where she has been part of the teaching team for five years. She holds degrees in Vocal Performance from Furman University (B.M.) and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (M.M. in Vocal Performance & Pedagogy). Whether in the studio or on stage, Maggie is committed to encouraging singers to grow in both skill and self-expression. She is honored to guide singers of all ages as they develop their voices and grow as musicians.
Kaitlyn Applewhite Morgan

Kaitlyn Applewhite Morgan is a versatile performer with a passion for teaching students of all ages from young elementary to senior adults. Her students vary in experience and style including classical, musical theatre, and contemporary commercial music.
Kaitlyn is a graduate of Furman University with a B.M. in Vocal Performance, B.A. in Piano, and minor in Musical Theatre. She is a CMVT, Certified McClosky Voice Technician, trained in vocal health, anatomy, and physiology to guide her students in discovering vocal freedom, ease, and power in song and speech. She is a member of SCNATS, GMTA, SCMTA, and NFMC.
In addition to teaching private voice and piano lessons, Kaitlyn is a staff teacher in Furman’s Piano for Young People program offering individual and group instruction in theory, technique, and repertoire. She also sings with the Greenville Chorale and serves in her church choir, orchestra, band, and vocal team.
Kaitlyn’s voice teachers include Victoria Bess Adams and Lisa Browne Barksdale. Kaitlyn also studied voice with Jeff Mattsey at Chicago Summer Opera, where she performed her opera debut as Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. Kaitlyn’s opera scene roles include Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Mařenka in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, and Adele in J Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. Kaitlyn’s musical theatre roles include Lucinda in Sondheim’s Into The Woods and Lady Beaconsfield in Wildhorn’s Jekyll and Hyde. Kaitlyn has appeared as a soloist with Furman Symphony Orchestra, singing “Rejoice Greatly, O Daughter of Zion” in Handel’s Messiah and “Laudumus Te” in Vivaldi’s Gloria.
At Furman, Kaitlyn was President of Furman Singers and a member of Chamber Choir, HoneyBees barbershop quartet, and a jazz combo. She was employed as Furman’s Chancel Music Director and as a student teacher in Furman’s Piano for Young People program.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Kaitlyn is an avid social dancer and figure skater. She enjoys hiking and water sports on the lake with her husband and Lagotto Romagnolo.
Addison Ballew

Soprano Addison Ballew, a native of Upstate South Carolina, recently earned her Master of Music degree from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music from Furman University in 2022. Addison’s love of singing began early, and she first started voice lessons at BHA Voice Studio with Brittany Hogan Alomar when she was 15 years old.
Recent performances include Haydn’s Theresienmesse as soprano soloist with IU’s University Chorale and the role of Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) in Heidi Grant Murphy’s Opera Workshop. She also appeared as Norina (Don Pasquale) and Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro) with IU Opera Workshop, and premiered the roles of Hélène and Fanchette with Unsung Opera. Other notable roles include Zerlina (Don Giovanni) and Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods).
Addison is a NATS Regional Qualifier in both Musical Theatre and Classical Voice, earning honors in each. She was a finalist in the William E. Schmidt Youth Vocal Competition and placed Top Ten in the Musical Theatre Pre-Professional Division of the 2020 Classical Singer Competition.
In 2024, she was selected for the prestigious opera studio at AIMS in Graz, Austria. Her academic work includes voice science research with Lisa Barksdale, CCC-SLP, at Furman, and a teaching assistantship in Music History under Dr. Gary Malvern. During her final year at Jacobs, she served as Secretary of the Student NATS Chapter. Addison remains an active NATS member in the Mid-Atlantic Region and South Carolina Chapter.
